Is it possible to take apart the black altezza tails and paint the black housing and put them back together? I haven't worked with after-market tail lamps before and thought if i bought them, they might look cool paint matched to my car. Would it be just like taking apart the headlamps and painting those? That didn't look to difficult. All info would be great pertaining to the subject. Thanks

i was thinking about this my self. the thing i am worried about is the fact that the clear plastic lens is so thin that i wouldnt want it to melt or deform in the oven. hell, if you do it, let me know if it worked. i think it would look great. not my thing, but i would like to customize some custom taillights for people.
