hey all,
the front valance under the bumper on my '02 z cracked over the winter when i hit a chunk of ice (no room to swirve...). i've left it off all this time. i may paint the whole thing so i'll want it fixed.
what is the best way to repair it? the bottom ledge of it completely split in two. needs to be glued together basically. i'm unsure what to use so it will actually hold.
thanks!

Try 'boat repair fiberglass'.. they should sell something similiar at Autozone and Wallmart. Or any kind of body filler will work, as long as you have a mesh to lay down behind it, to hold the piece together.
thanks for the input. i'll find someone with some degree of confidence and see what we can accomplish.

Yeah, you can use epoxy fiberglass, and it'll crack again. Unless it's treated gently. You can get panel adhesive for urethane bumper covers and flexible fillers.
ok, thanks.
i have no clue what i'm doing.....but i'll figure something out hopefully
