i just want some opinions, im not sure if i want to get an aftermarket kit or just get the ls sport kit?

well it depends on what you want out of your car. pick a route u wanna go w/ your car then start making decisions
since you have big chrome wheels i'd say ls sport kit. keep it clean! and have fun modding
i say kit it, but its all about personal preference... the ls sport lip kit is really cool looking and ive seen some extensively modded cavs with just the lip kit and it looks killer!

ya, i was thinkin on goin with the ls sport kit, im doin air ride this winter so i think it should look pretty good
Honestly i'm in the same boat as u, I have the base model aswell. At first I wanted to go with the LS sport kit, but I realized they are nearly impossible to find for a decent price. Then I found out that I could get a aftermarket fiber glass kit much easier and much cheaper. Now personally i think the LS sport kit is clean ass hell!!! However there are a couple of minor things I don't like such as the side skirts and the geometric shape of the front bumper (very square and sharp) So because of that I think aftermarket is the way to go, but... stay away from the bomex (ugly ass front bumper) Type J has an amazing looking rear and sides but the missing gap where the grill is looks kind of weird. Rksport makes a really clean looking lip package personally I think its probably one of the cleanest looks out, full polyurethane too. When it comes down to it, its basically about what look u want to achieve, stock clean looking cavs are admired by many, but if u really wanna stand out then aftermarket (molded properly) is the way to go.

If your going to get air ride which is a big show type item, get a body kit. It will put more of an effect when you drop that sucker down and also you will turn heads more. It really all depends on what your going for...thats just me.
It's your car and your decision. Keep shopping around and you will eventually find what you like. Good luck.
