i hate to start a thread on something im sure has had a million posts about it before especially as my first thread but i cant find it using a search so here it goes
im wanting to convert my front end to that of a sunfire and nothing else will the fenders stick out/in compared to the door or anything ??? anything special i should know ??? and also besides an ugly ass gap in the back between the trunk and bumper is there anyreason after doing this conversion i couldnt use a sunfire body kit ??? thanks in advance and sorry for the repost if it is one
also im glad to be part of the forums im the new owner of a 2k4 black cavalier... currently not running i picked it up for $850 from a friend it had 15 bullet holes in the hood but the intake/intake manifold and valve cover saved the block so i have bought all new replacement parts and cleaned out all of the cylinders and cleaned out the heads as there was 0 compression on cylinders 1 and 3 (found a hand full of intake in every cylinder) and ported the heads while i had it off.... went a head and ordered a K&N intake instead of replacing it with a stock one and have a turbo and some other goodies planned for it... my other vehicle is a 1991 GMC Syclone #2447 and i needed a daily driver so i could start working on it some.... dual turbos, coil overs, engine rebuild, and more are planned for it so im happy im finally gonna be able to get started on that
can be done, and has been done, its actually pretty easy and i'm sure there will be people willing to swap front ends somewhere. i did the opposite of what you want to do and it turned out pretty damn good. take a look at my post in the photos section to see what i mean

i will also be doin a swap like but im going to take the 03 -05 sunfire front end and putting it on my 01 4dr cavy...
unless you wanna do alot alot of custom work then you will need to buy your body kit in a special way....sunfire front end, either sunfire or cavalier sideskirts and cavalier rear bumper
