I took my emblems off today but I got some ugly marks left. Will they just wax off or what. You cant really see them but I know there there.
what kinda marks? is it some left over glue? or jus dirt? or is the paint faded? as long as its not the paint fading, just use some goo gone, give it a good wash, then wax it.
I did use goo gone, I did wash it, didnt wax yet
You and your pics. Ill take some today when I get home.
i took mine off like 2 days ago and i took some paint thiner and wiped it off and it didnt do any thing to my paint just took off the sticky goo stuff.

JESUS! never use paint thinner on a car's body.
lol....
this is somthing that have been wanting to do, but havnt been brave enough to do yet. i am asuming that once they come off there is just glue left over to get off? someone please confirm this for me before i decide to go ripping them off!
you wont be able to just rip them off, it takes some patience because that glue works very well and there is quite a bit of it, you'll need alot of goo gone, and i used some string that i slid back and forth behind it to separate it from the glue. There will probably be some glue left but thats nothing a little goo gone cant solve
look's like paint fade to me.

my god, your getting all technical, get some fishing string and 2 sticks or 2 screw drivers, tie one end to one driver and the other end to the other driver, get the string under a corner and work the string under the badge. get a dry towell and rub off the goo, use goo begone to tget the small stuff, use a rubbing compound with a light grit and hti it up then wax it. all done.
i did mine too but my paint was faded so now i have dark logo's on the hood and trunk.
rubbing compound, might work.
yup try some rubbing compound
then try some finish restorer
Just wash your car with one of those wash mits you can buy at the local store. That worked for mine.
I used goo gone and rubbed my fingers to the bone! No more sticky
But I had to do it about 3 times lol

Did you rub most of the glue off with thumbs etc. before you threw the goo gone on there? i did.. thats the worst part, and got the worst blister ever on my thumb haha. That kinda looks like you just smeared the glue around..
