I have had a few fiberglass kits and they seem to get rock chips bad, I was wondering if urethane chip as bad as the glass ones(maybe it has to do with the glass being more flexable then the paint? just a guess.)?
I also am looking for type-j side skirts for a cheap price, and a rear bumper skin that will go together nicely with them, BMX front, type-j preferred sides (or BMX if I can't find type-j for cheap.), and a mello rear that doesn't look like a huge shelf.
Anyone have suggestions as to what rear and where I can get sides and rear @ a cheap price?
Thanks in advance... ]KrosS
I've had a urethane kit on my car for about a year now, and it still looks brand new. I think urethane is more resistant to chipping and cracks than fiberglass is.
Urethane is a lot more resistant to chips and cracking, BUT when it does crack/rip/tear it is almost imposible to repair. Fiberglass is easy to repair, but if you don't drive on good clean roads you'll be repairing it fairly often to keep it new looking.
