I have an 04 cavalier, and am interested in getting a body kit and a wing for it.
The kit i'm interested in is the Andy's Autosport Summit Kit.
Does anyone have any experience with their kits? I've heard a lot of mixed stories about the quality of the products they make, and want to stay away from garbage.
The wing i'm interested in is the Razzi Downforce II Wing.
I have a few questions reguarding installation of body kits. I've never done any kind of body work before, so this will be a completely new experience for me.
I'm ASSUMING it's as easy as removing the stock front and rear bumper covers, and putting the new ones on (painting either before install or after). Is it JUST that easy? Or is there a lot more involved such as cutting, drilling, moving, bending, etc..
What all tools and equipment would I need? Would I be able to do this myself?
How would the car look with the summit kit without being lowered? I don't want to get a kit AND lower my car, because the roads around here are just absolutly horrendous. Everyone I know that has a body kit AND lowered suspension has banged up their kit.
I don't want to spend the $1000+ on getting a kit just to break it.
How do you install the side skirts? I'm assuming you have to drill holes and mount them on with bolts or whatever else.
Would the razzi wing flow OK with the summit kit?
I have stock exhaust. I'm sure it would look pretty lame if I got a body kit. What do you guys recommend as far as exhaust goes? I'm looking more for show then performance... and I don't want an arritating raspy fart-can sound ... but i would like a nice fat shiny chromed out cylindrical can style exhaust angling up.
Thanks for any thoughts/comments/how-tos/hints/tips/etc
and thanks for helping a newb out

Well I dont know how the fitment of the Summit Kit is for the cavy from Andys, but my friend just ordered a spider kit for his neon and the thing was all wrong, it came with a huge crack in the rear bumper, and the front and rear bumpers were too long. There were also no pre drilled holes and no mounting hardware. And to top it all off, Some of the fiberglass was too thin and there were little tiny stress cracks before we even put it on. Not a quality fitment by any means. I would look around at more reputable sources like A+ Plus Performance, Car Customs, and Gravana Tuning.
