I was riding around the other day and saw an orange sunfire that had what looked to be aggressive looking louvers on the quarter windows.
I liked how it looked, and want some for my car. I did a search on ebay, but came up with no results..
I had them on the quarter windows of my 76 mustang, and it brings back memories

I hate them. I think they look cheap and ugly as hell whether they're painted or not.

Don't do it, man. I had the ones on the left on my Cav - one of the first mods I ran out and bought. They are cheap plastic crap. I'll try to find pics soon so we can all have a good laugh.

Well I think i'm going to hold off on them...
I'm debating wether or not to get my windows tinted. If I do that, I'm going to get flame/tribal graphics done in the window tint. Some of you may think it's cheesy but I like it.

Yes I got them. I like them. I painted mine black to match the car. I think they flow well with the bomex kit. I think I got some pictures in my profile of them.
they probably are made of cheap plastic, but i image if painted and attached well they wouldn't look to bad. if it's something you want to do go for it. from what the other guys have said, it's not expensive, so if it turns out to be something you don't like, it won't be a huge loss.
