Well, I got my Drift kit today, or whats supposed to be drift kit, only problem is this, all the parts are for a drift kit EXCEPT the front cover. They sent me a BOMEX front....This sucks........A perfectly good day ruined......Sorry...Just wanted to vent...Jay

Hey, I like my BMX front, I would like to have drift sides though.
What don't u like about the BMX front?
I'm thinking it's not so much that he dislikes the bomex front...but that it's a totally different kit than what he ordered.......
Did you contact whoever you bought it from and see if you can arrange to ship it back and get the correct front?

Most companies will add in print that they reserve the right to substitute an equal or greater valued product at their own discretion.
Which means they were prolly out of stock of Drift fronts and decided to sub a BMX front, or they have no idea that there is a difference between the 2.
That is why you should buy from Companies on here, where did you get it from?

Get really p.o'd with them They will changes things or recieve a bad rep from ya. all it takes is some bitching at them and they quickly change there tone. Even if they have that written some place they still have to notify you of the change and ask what you would like to do.
no doubt...if I paid for a kit from a company, and they sent me another...i'd be PISSSED

just call your CC company and tell them, or paypal if you paid by them, once they don't have their money any more, they tend to be a lot more cooperative

Shady never said where he got the kit, I am interested to know what company doesn't give 2 sh!ts about customers. If you did get it from Ebay there is alot you can do.
If not almost have to suck it up and slap it on
"As-is" is a valid term, but only applied to the actual product, right?? They could have sent you a brick and said sorry it's "as-is". Man, this is a crime against America if they can get away with treating you like this. Hope you get it straightened out. Tell them it doesn't line up so it's not a "replacement of equal value".

I know the feeling.. We got a big shipment in, just so happened to be my birthday, thought my rear bumper was going to be in there but found out they messed up. now I gotta wait a few more weeks for more to get in stock.

call them back and tell them if they dont arrange something to get you the bumper you ordered and paid for, you will file a claim (how ever you paid for it) aginst them for a refund due to not comming through on their part, and to get an attorney ready because yours will be calling them shortly if they arent willing to fix their mistake.

I had the same thing happen to me when I ordered my body kit from jfracing.com, but they sent me an andy's kit instead of the drift kit. I was pissed but I called them and they picked up the wrong one and sent me the right one a couple weeks later at no charge. It sucked waiting longer but at least I got the kit I wanted.
"as is" is bullshiz. THEY sent you the wrong bumper. You ordered a drift kit... they sent you a bomex front. THEIR mistake... legally they have to exchange or refund you.... period.
Call them again... explain once again what happened... and if they don't want to cooperate tell them they'll be hearing from your lawyer shortly.

someone find out who this poor excure for a business is that's screwed a fellow member. threaten small claims court or contacting the better business bureo (howeve it's spelled). if you get the bbb on them, they'll give in like a little child standing before 6ft tall body builder demanding the lollipop.
contact as many federal agencies as possible and report this incident. spread the word as far as you can, and mention the name of the company. if they're gonna screw you, i say screw them. let's boycot the place if we ever hear who it is.
