im going to be doing a tail conversion and a widebody soon, and i was thinking of doing a camaro rear. The tails, widened rear quarters, the flush style spoiler, and bomex mirrors. basically everything except making it a hatch. i already have a ram air hood to go along with the ss look also. what does everyone think it will look like? the car is in the garage now, im just waiting on a welder, and a compressor. Also, what should i use to do this, i know that camaro body's are fiberglass, but how well would that work on a metal body. I can do the fiberglass work, i just don want it to crack.

are the spoilers on camaros fiberglass?

except, ya know you'd have to cut down the middle and shorten it, right? Since Camaros are a lot wider than an econobox. Other than that, that'd look hot.

Sure they aren't abs plastic spoilers? Either way i think you could do it if you're good with that kinda thing.

Yea you would also need to modify the trunk because if I remember correctly camaro tails are on solid piece. Make the part that comes down angled so that the latch mechanism still works and the lights fit

yeah, i knew i would have to shorten the spoiler.

I think that all of them are fiberglass, and i'll check on the tails, my brother has a 98 z28 out in the garage. when i go out there to work on mine i will check it all out. i cant do it tonight tho, i have 4 repos to go and get.
