do u have to CUT the wire or can u split and ground ?
cut the wire and ground it, its gotta be totally severed from the harness

Is there a picture somewhere? I installed a hid system and it makes my lights flicker on and off for about 3 seconds then the service light comes on
Blah Blah Blah Royall Purple!
you grounded the wrong side. make sure you ground the one that is coming out of the BCM

again someone give me a picture

no picture needed for this. middle plug on BCM, cut drk blue wire, ground the BCM side of the wire, tuck the remaining wire from the harness out of sight. VERY VERY EASY

also that actually means that he just didnt ground the wire at all
"Official Jewish J-Body"
circled the bcm. all you gotta do is take the middle plug out. pull back some of the tape. cut the dark blue wire. its the only one in the bunch. then take the end coming from the plug. attack 16guage wire then ground it with good metal contact. (i used where the obdII connector is. then just tuck the wires away. and TA DA finished
if you cant do that. well then dont touch any other part of your car...its not rocket science...

the only reason you will get a light on your dash from doing this is if you do it wrong.
if you odnt ground it properly it will throw a code whenever your drls are suppose to go on.
if you ground it properly. the icon for your drl will disapear.
how would you go about this on a 95-99?
I just want to be 100% sure cause people were throwing around numbers on the harness and it didn't match up then I found a forum that told me to ground out the relay? I have some fog lights that I installed aftermarket. Douse anyone know how I could use this to make the running lights my fog lights?

its complicated. and if you are having this much trouble disabling them you certainly wont be able to comprehend how to wire up a relay.

OK HOLD ON JUST A SEC! First Off I'm not stupid. I have 4 different peices of information that Just wanted to make sure with a picture or diagram so that I don't fry my computer or something and end up costing me thousands to get fixed.
Now that I've got that out of the way. This Wire that I am about to cut. it needs to secured to a ground point on the car. Now I was wanting to get the fog lights to turn on witht the daytime running lights. Well what if I ran the wire from the ground point of the fog lights to the dark blue wire that I was going to ground. Hmmm. Just thinking about that, That blue wire is it a ground? Where is the Headlight King? How do you do that. I want to keep my DRL but instead have my fogs turn on instead.

having that happen takes a lot of rewiring and splicing of the headlight harness. I wasnt saying you are stupid but clearly you arent an electronics wiz, so i dont suggest you attempt it.

Its really simple man. just look under the dash o the drivers side and you will see the BCM. FInd the middle plug and find the dark blue wire and cut it. then take the end that comes out of the BCm and ground it to a bolt and you will be good. Its not hard.

im here im here.
anyway, if you want to have the fogs as drls, wire this.
pin 85 to the bcm side of the dark blue wire in the middle plug (slot A6 or B6, cut through just like if you were gonna get rid of the drls). pins 86 and 87 to fused 12v positive. you must cut the connection between your fog lights 12v side and the rest of the car, the end that goes to the fogs goes to pin 30, and the end that goes back to the car (to a switch or w/e u have it wired to, etc) goes on pin 87a.
hope u got that
