does anyone know how to remove the driver side mirror? a recent hit ans run on my car has left me with a broken one that is unfixable and i have boughten a new one, and im wondering how to put it on....can someone help me out?
there's 1 screw holding the interior plastic triangle in place. remove that, and you should see a piece of foam behind it. take that out as well. then you'll see the 3 bolts that hold the mirror on. remove those (don't drop any nuts behind the door panel). then you can pull the mirror off. it's pretty easy.
BTW they are 10mm. and the lowerest one is a Pita to get too, You may actually need to remove the door panal, but if you take your time with an open end 10mm, you can do it that way.
