Just what it says in the subject line........ How do you condition a convertable top? What is everybody with convertables using on there tops?A friend of mine has a 96 convertable with a good top but they are worried about it weathering so what can be used to keep it good?
Saddle soap. Work it in real good by hand. It's a pain, but that's what my dad does with his Alfa Romeo, and it works great.
I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but at least I'm a pretty color
I use Meguiars Mirror Glaze Professional Vinyl/Rubber cleaner(wasnt sure on what to use and the guy at Lordco recommended it for me) on mine and it looks great. I have a black top on mine and it really gives it a sharp and dark looking colour to it,really stands out.
Blue Magic sells a cleaner/condition for convertable tops, you can get it at AutoZone.
Brawn, how long have you used the Meguiars Mirror Glaze Professional Vinyl/Rubber cleaner? Does it wash off really easy? Does it fade?
