Guys i installed my hid system, and the power of the system couldnt stay on. the left headlight blink and then went totally off , while the right headlight stayed on. I would like to know if by disableing the drl's will my hids function properly. i have a 96 cavy. and if the drls will work right can you all tell me how to disable them. thanks
what brand HID did you installed?
how did you connect the kit?
i have the hidynamic system. i installed the system by connecting the left hid buld into the ballast and then into the left light housing and the same for the right housing.
i have the same problem with mine...it takes a couple of turns to get the other one on
i can't really figure out the problem.
ok, the better way to connect the system is to use a relay. here how mine is connected:
i have power wire from battery to relay to supply the 2 ballast, and i have my left light connector connected to relay also, that way when you open the light, it makes the relay open for power to your hid!!!

when lights on, it opens the passage for power to ballast!

yes, but in this diagram you will have to use 2 relay, 2 power wirer, 2 ground and everything in double since you are pluggin 2 bulb duh!!!!
My kit came already wired up, and have 2 wire going from relay each one for each ballast, hence only 1 relay and 1 ground.
