Ok, I've done previous suggestion posts before about what people think about a shaved trunk idea and what people think about a c/f hood.
As some of you know, I'm going to the bash and participating in the show there. I want to do something that is a major change or last big mod. I want to either do a shaved trunk or c/f hood...here is a photoshop of my trunk shaved (no reverse lights & keyhole):

I don't have a picture of a c/f hood on my car photoshoped but you can get an idea in your head.
What do you guys think?

do a carbon fiber hood ....but not an OEM one...
NO CARBON FIBER.... black + red + carbon fiber = yuck
just get a fiberglass hood and have it painted to fit the theme of the car

Not to sound like an ass but seriously, no comments on my spoiler. For the last time, I'm not taking the stock one off, I'm not changing the color of the RK one. I'm only talking about SHAVING my trunk or the hood. It really gets old after a while...

imo the black wing looks great on ur car...but for the question you asked....i think a carbon fiber hood would look nice..thats my opinion..but either way....your car is hot!

Id say if its between those 2 mods, the hood will stand out more, but I think will look out of place because of all the bacl on the car, so I would vote to shave the trunk... Mayeb even completly shave teh trunk and put the plate in the bumper?

I like the idea of the pinstripe, or shaving the trunk. that would both look sweet. About the CF hood, i wouldnt because i think itll mess up the two tone too much. Maybe an aftermarket fiberglass one painted would look pretty hot. But id say go with the trunk. Whichver you decide itll look hot.

ok guys, I've reading everyones posts and thank you for responding.
I talked to the guy at the shop I take my car to get painted at. I told him what I wanted to do and he said the price should be $300.
My question is, should I also fill in the "Pontiac" on my trunk cause right now I have inlays for the Pontiac that are black. What you guys think?

as long as its at the paint shop get the silver stripe put on seperating your 2 tone
...it will make it look more like a 2 tone and less like a "i didnt wanna repaint the bumpers so i made it 2 tone"
Adam , shave the trunk and go with the silver line to seperate the two tone. ( it'll flow with the polished lip on the rims )

ok guys. I technically have the money for the trunk. I'm going to play it safe and do the trunk for my "last big mod" before the bash. I think I'll have it done next week. The guy told me around $300 to have it done. When it is finished, I'll post pictures in the Photo's and Media Forum. Thanks for the suggestions.
