i was wondering if it was possible to replace my 99 cavy's stock lights for these:
how hard would it be and what all would be involved.

eh its not that easy. the hood, bumper, fender, rad support. they all have to be cut and changed. one of the more easier swaps would be accord lights since they are very similar to ours
Looks like a close fit, but you still will need a lot of modification to the fenders and hood. If it where me I would get a head light that is totally different to the cavy headlight. Because you will be spending money on the modification you might as well get something different that will give you a more custom look and that is worth your money.

Another good idea might be to try to get your hands on some MX-6 headlights and see how much modification will be required before you go ahead with the project. Might end up being more, or less than what you estimated.

contrary to popular belief and depending on the headlight you wouldn't have to modify the rad support more than likely you could modify the mounts on the light and make a bracket .
also if you plan on doing a swap i suggest a fiberglass hood, bumper, and fenders even with buying fiberglass part you'll save a couple hundred in labor (hood doesn'tlook to important with the mx-6 lights their not that far off)
