A rock jumped up and put a nice white line about an inch long on my hood. I tried to just rub it really hard to see if that would come off (like when someone opens a door onto your car) but it wouldnt. So i got 800 grit sp and wet sanded the tiny area. Now I have a little cloud and was wondering what compound I should use to get rid of it.

Well , personally i would have tried the rubbing compound first..and some 2000 grit sand paper and then use some compuond like the KIt brand Sratch Out & haze remover cuase now your probablly going to have a permanent hazy spot in the hood< But who knows what a little elbow grease can do..?
when i get my carbon fiber hood im gonna clear bra it lol
