Corner lights stick out on body kit

My corner light sticks out on the passenger side of my body kit. Like where it goes into the poit, through half way of the light it sticks out of the pocket where it belongs. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it?

I don't have a digi camera so I cant post photos, also I don't know why you need to know the body kit style, it's more of a suggestion type answer I'm looking for but ok. It is a BX style kit.
