Shaved Door Kit
Wednesday, May 11, 2005 7:46 AM
I have been reading about the shaved door handle kits. From what I have read poeple seem to like spal a little bit more than autoloc. I went on ebay and found this kit. Is this the one that I should get or does someone recommend something else?? Thanks for the help.

Also how well do these hold up in winter months...I live in Iowa and the winters arent to bad, just kinda wondering.

40 is not bad but depending on where you live with winter and if your a 2dr or 4dr would matter. i believe the doors are a little heavier on the 4 doors thats why for the lambos they have to use 750 while the 2drs use 700. most common is a 50lb kit

The 35lb kits are the older, discontinued Spal models most likely. They now have 40lb kits.

If you don't buy one from eBay, let me know and I can get you a good price.

Get the spal 40lb kit. I ordered a spal 40lb amenity 7 channel kit off of ebay and it works awesome. My buddy also ordered the 40lb kit. He had the autolock kit before and the solenoids went out in a few months.
