I took out my air box assmebly a while ago, and I've been driving with the clutch reservoir strapped to the original mount...
I thought of buying a CAI with the mount for this, but I prefer designing my own intakes...
I just took the old air box, and cut the front off, leaving just the mount section. It has the bushing to go into the stock bracket, the contour to go around the shock tower, and that's it.
The front is just an empty hole.
So I was tossing around ideas what to do with it....
I thought of just filling it and smoothing out to make it look stock.
I also considered using diamond plate to fill the front gap.
And my other idea was to fiberglass a skull into it...
Anyone else have some ideas or suggestions?
Also, I plan to drill out the bracket, and use allen or torx screws to bolt the box onto the bracket, while still using the factory bushing on the back of the air box.

i dont really understand what your saying. Pictures would help.
95 Cavi... I'll try to get some pics later this week.......
Raskal... You're right on the money with that, now just imagine using a small portion of the stock airbox to make your own custom clutch mount...
That's kinda what my goal is.

well if you took the intake box out, why not just cut it up to make a bracket for it?
This is how I did mine last year...

Bagged Cav.. that's what I plan on doing....
john317, that's EXACTLY what I mean... but the front spot.. I was thinking of diamond plate, or a skkull or something.....
