Im finally doing it!! well not me but im paying to have it done friday at inferno audio..got a good deal 230 for a four door. Only part that sucks is i can only do a 35% tint because of mass laws. I kno itll come out good tho i trust em the shop is actually one of my ex bfs friends so ive seen some of their work . plus they back everything with a warranty so its all good
35 is good.. if i were you i would get 35 on the windshiled too.. its not dark at all but it will make the car look nice
im getting mine done saturday...for 200 bux. and they are doing the color match vinyl for me too, they looked at the dot matrix and was like holy crap thats far down, we gotta vinyl that. im like GOOD. you just said the magic words, gimme your next appointment.

why mine was tinted they painted the dot matrix on the in side smelled like ass in the car for a few weeks but looks nice (no nasty vinyl)
the tinter at our dealership i work at sands it down alittle with sand paper. something like 300 grit just to knock down the edge. he did mine and it laid out real nice. plus i have a house grade tint its a little thicker. so with auto tint it should lay out nicely. my first tint i had done i just kept rubbing it for a week and it still had spots. no spots anymore with a little sanding. dont push hard or you could scratch glass though.

I got the curved cut on the rear as well on my Fire...Looks great, I love it...I would reccomend it to anyone who is getting tint.

call me stupid but what is the dot matrix? I am about to get my windows winted too and I'm just trying to learn as much as possible before I do it.
I'm loving my tint for $170. Rear 3 windows at 5% can barely notice the "dots", front two windows at 35%, and a 7" windshield sunshade that's 5% also. I took my door panels off myself and they super dryed the front 2 windows so I could put the windows down immediately after they were done.

i honestly have no clue what brand they are using but form what my ex bf tells me the guy who does it used to do it on bmws and lexus so itll come out awesome

if you look on your rear window, at the top there are little black dots. That is dot matrix and it's a pain in the ass
