i need some help from someone who has been here.. i have a few ideas on how to get started so please tell me if you can think of an easier way.. im going to start with stirofoam blocks that ill line up and shave to my desired size and use it as a mold then fiberglass it . do you think this would work i know i cant fiberglass the foam itself but is their an easier way to make a mold??

i guess it kinda depends on the shape/design your going for. ive herad people using styrophome covered in plastic, ive heard of clay, but thats alot of clay for a skirt, or you could try using a 2x4, then add the shape/design with clay on top of the 2x4. that would cut down on clay materials.

im sure someone else has some good ideas. good luck with your project

I've seen people make stuff with cardboard, then just glass all of it. The styrofoam should work well, though. Are you trying to make something that will be permanent, or removeable?

im basically just trying to make skirts that would be removable.. nothing elaborate but something very clean and straight. only 3" or so wide , and a fnt spoiler about the same width , i have a friend who can get huge blocks of foam .
