I know the 96 sunfires have clear signal lights and could be swapped to my 02, unfortunatly they are hard to come by in my area.
I was wonder would it be possible to use a fog light housing and use the signal light wire harness, or possibly the round back up lights?

Are the brackets the same or would be easy to make something to hold them in?
Any bit of help would be great!

I don't think it's possible to use the fog or backup light housings in place of the front bumper signals. All three lights are different sizes. I believe the newer Firebirds have the same exact clear front bumper signals as the ones on the older Sunfire GTs, so if you could find those they should work. If all else fails, you can always get a new pair from a Pontiac dealer. I paid $75 for the pair from the dealer. Good luck.

Go to the dealership and ask for them. Any dealer should be able to order them for you brand new.

Often even if you find them in a junk yard they're scratched up and yellowed because they're old.
