getting under it with a kit

i was just thinking...im about to get a kit..but yet i do all my own work on my car and the ones ive seen so far with kits are so low i dont see how you get the car off the ground...
like say i wanted to change my oil..how do you guys get under your cars....i usually use these ramps to drive up on and just roll under the car....im just curious cus i just dont get it lol

you can get ramps for lowered cars. try a few local parts stores. or if you switch to using a jack you can get mini-ramps to raise the car enough to slip a jack under it. pep boys has those.

the stupid jack that came with the car, ha ha, then after it's up high enough, put a real jack underneath for the rest of the way

depends for me. even w/ my car raised all the way up and on 2x4s its still hard to get under so i drop the one side and the other side raises up a bit more than i can get the factory jack under to get it started then i use my floor jack once it clears the side skirts. too much work though. takes me about 30 mins just to get the car up

yea most of the people i kno use 2x4s as well. As anyone used one of those lowprofile racing jacks that the auto stores have? jw cause i was thinkin about buyin one of those but wasnt sure if itd be worth the money.

Same here. Factory jack, then a 4 ton once it's high enough. Then, if it's something pressing, I raise that bastid as high as I can and throw 'er on jackstands.

Ya I say go with 2x4's, I went out and bought the ramps for lowered cars and they still were not low enough
