hey everyone, thanks for reading...I'm installing a body kit on my buddy's celica, and the skirts are similar to the drift skirts on our cars.
what is the best way to put it onto the car? Now i know i'll be bolting it from the back (where the fender liner is), but for the section that lays flush with the feder and quater panel, what's the best way in adhearing it?
he doesn't want it molded, and still accessible for removal. I'm thinking of an adhesive, or possibly using the same approach as the sunfire GT door skins.
what options are there that we have?
thanks for any help
If he wants to be able to remove it.... double sided 3M molding tape... what Shifted said...
you can also use Windshield urethane adhesive, its strong, but you can always remove it with a fishing line.. depenind where you apply it. or the tape..

mine have studs molded into the backside of the sideskirt (one at the front on the upper part, and a matching one at the rear) , and there's holes drilled through my fenders and quarter panels, and then i get to have the pleasure of fitting my hand between the fender and door to try and tighten down a freaking bolt....the rear is easier, i just have to remove half the interior....grrrr....
3m tape sounds much easier...albeit somewhat less permanent.
screw them on and then use filler over the screw heads thats what im doin
