I am looking at getting a urethane drift kit. I was told by the guy that I am going to use to paint the kit, that the urethane must be chemically primed in order for the paint to adhere. What chemical would I need to use in order to do this, or should I just have him do it for me?
if he's painting it.. let him to the work but.... as far as prep. you have to clean and scuff it so that paint will adhere to it. flex agent in the paints. thats bout it

he's probably talking about adhesion promoter...it just helps the primer stick to the urethane...
I'd have him do it if he's painting it.
