where should my doors be adjusted to? i am having problems closing my doors, so i am wondering if they are adjusted right.
also, will i have to readjust them a couple times while everything breaks in? it seems like we had it really close when we installed them... now they are off by a 1/2 inch or so.
another question, is anyone having clearance issues with their fenders? my strut is rubbing/catching my fenders at the highest point... is this another adjustment issue?

there's 2 pieces that looks like a bolt without a head, but you can fit an allen wrench in them to adjust them. loosen the nut that holds them tight and you can adjust how far the doors swing out, and the adjustment for closing the door. that bigger one that adjusts the door alignment will help you out a bit...
as for the fenders, you're gonna have to loosen them a bit and probably slide them forward slightly. did you roll the inside lip of the fender?
what do u mean by rolling the fenders. please explain
I didn't think we needed to roll our fenders with the MMS kit. I got mine part way on and it doesn't look like I'll need to do anything to my fenders.

where the edge of the fender rolls in behind itself. to fold that edge down flat with the inside of the fender so it allows more clearence behind it.
awesome... i rolled the passenger side fender and readjusted it.... WORKS LIKE A CHAMP!!!
i'll do the driver side tonight.
thanks guys...

Glad you got them adjusted Looney
Thanks for the tips Cannon
It's weird....I've installed them and have had to roll the fenders on some, but not on all. I also know people that have recently installed these and have not had to roll fenders. But, then we have a few that do need some rolling.....Not a big deal though
mine need rolled on 03 sunfire. i wasnt able to put the hinge on while leaving the door on like everyone talks about. couldnt get the bottom of the hinge over the bottom bolt coming out of the fender. right now the door holes and the holes on the hinges wont line up, will play with sat to see if i can adjust it anymore.
Luckly I had fiberglass z3 fenders and they didnt need anything done to them it worked perfect on the first try.
well i got everything going good now.
question- after all is said and done my fender sticks out to far to barely open the door. since on the install you bend back the two parts that were bolted to the fender where the hinge is now, the fender bows out some since theres no support. any ideas????
as a warning the 03 sunfire has the stock "ground effects" you have to be careful on the closing or the door will close ontop of the effect and could pop it out.
i love it none the less, people breaking there necks to look.
when you bent the middle tab on the fender, you probably bent the whole fender itself. try bending it back in a little bit.
Hopefully yours turned out as good as mine! Post some pics!
