My 2000 cavalier never came with any rear fender liners, but i've heard somewhere that on certain cavaliers GM did not put rear liners on, but could be installed to help with road noise. Did 03+ sport models have them? The reason for asking is.....
I've put an 03+ LS sport rear bumper on my 00' and there are holes in the bumper for attaching a fender liner. I've have yet to attach the bumper to the wheel well part because there is a big gap right where the fender liner would go, and mine didn't come with them. The bumper kind of bulges out on the sides cause it is not pushed inwards and secured to the well. Everthing else lines up perfectly though. I guess I could block up the gap and then secure the bumper, but if all I need are liners than it would take care of it.

I got a 2000 and i didnt get a rear fender liner
PaCavalier
i know i've seen someone who put a rear fender well liner in their car, but for the life of me i can't remember who. it looked really nice. and i can't find it in a search, i think it was too long ago, and has been archived by now.
Okay nevermind, found some pics that would work...thanks to Lenko
I have the bumper on the car. We made brackets under the tailights to hold those panels in, and secured all bolts and clips. Except the area with the Red Circle (the little piece that hangs down). The bumper has holes as if screws secure the bumper to that piece.
The blue circle shows where the bumper bulges out. That part would have to be pushed in a little to line up to the bracket where the red circle is. Which is not a problem, because the bumper is flimsy and flexes. Though once pushed in and lined up, there is a gap between the bumper and that bracket (red circle) for that piece, which is why I was wandering if there was a fender liner or a piece that goes in there.

from what i know, there is a plastic triangle thing that goes on the inside of the bumper. the two screws from the top and the two screws from the side screw into the plastic. from what i remember on my car, i also think that there was a *little* gap, which i just screwed a little tighter and voila the gap was gone lol. if you put it all back together, i dont think it should bulge out......unless i missed something.

this? they are 03 Sunfire rear wheel well skins
Portage, MI
^^those look nice! And those screws are the ones that need to be secured
The gap is big enough that something would break if screwed it tight, lol. Viper, I see how a triangle would go there.......the thick part would be at the bottom right? Is that "triangle" piece part of ^^ that assembly. If so I will definitely get those. Sorry for all these stupid questions guys, but I don't want to ghetto rig anything, and I would like to have rear liners fo sho'

Maybe I do have them, A friend of mine help me take the bumper off and it was late, maybe they are still stuck to the bumper, or being stupid and probably threw them away. If so, I can make something now that I know what's up. Thanks everybody, and Deji for the part numbers.

Yeah , I put rear liners in mine also. They don't go down far enough to fasten to the lower part of the bumper like that...
