A white trunklid for a cavalier up to 2002 model. Ive looked in junkyards, and found lots of red ones, im worried if i repaint it it'll look brighter than the rest of my car.

Just get a red one and repaint it...you have an 04 and any decent painter can match a newer paint color exactly.
or you could do this to your stocker (I have a 2003, same trunk)

just paint the red one as said above. it wont be hard for a good painted. give them your paint code and it'll be perfect. you car is too new to have fading issues.

and besides, any competent paint shop should be able to match your paint color. i just had my sideskirts painted, and the original paint code was darker than my paint, so they just lightened it up some and it matches the car perfectly.
