ok the 2000-2002 z24 rear bumper with the lip and exhaust cutout...will this bumper fit on a 95-99 cavalier...i'm not going full body kit cause i am lowering my car and the roads around here complete @!#$ and if i get a full body kit i'll @!#$ destroy it...waste of money...already getting a z24 front from a 95-99 and i dunno about sides but i like that particular rear cause of the lip...anyway i have gone on enough rear from 00-02 z24 will it fit or not thanks

yup you are so correct...my mistake but that LS sport bumper is the one i am talking about and as long as it fits i am happy...thanks

The only difference with the 95-99 is that the tail lamp filler panels ( the little squares below the rear tails) are attached to an 02 bumper whereas on your car they are separate pieces...
I guess you will just remove the filler panels and install the new bumper...no big deal

the 00-01 Z24's didnt not have the rear lip
the 02 Z24's did have the lip , and the LS sports , and base model sports had the lips
the Z22R also had the lip
along with the 4 door Z24 (both 2002 year model)
I know that the bumper will fit on a '95-99 Cav because I've done the swap myself. There are pics in my registry. Like the other guys said, you'll also have to remove the filler panels under the tails because they're attached to the '02 bumper. The only problem you might have is that the bumper might not fit properly over the styrofoam or plastic support(whichever you have) on your '99. You may have to trim it. When I got my '02 bumper, it already had the plastic honeycomb style support with it so I just took the old support off the car. I never checked to see if the '02 bumper fit over the 95-99 support though so it might fit on yours without any modification.
