ok i own a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire... the turn signals are an amber color, and i want them to be clear, or have a blueish look to them

can someone point me in the direction on where i could find them? or if there's some trick to 'em?

if your just lookin at the bulb, then go for the silverstar. you can get them at pepboys, and they are bluish during the day and amber when they are on. i dont know what the law is where you are, but in NY, we have to have amber turn signals. check em out <br>

This is the best I can do. They are apc (yeah I know but they are good so shush) they are called hyperwhite the bulbe is blue and lights up pure white with a blueish tint to it. Never been hassled by the cops and they are dicks aroudn here.

you can kinda tell but I have the clears with IcyHot LEDs in the corner and IcyHot in the bumper which are basically blue glass that glows white. they look @!#$ pimp at night <br>

I have APC Icy Hot Super White bulbs in my front bumper signals. I have never had any trouble with the cops. In some states, you can have amber or white turn signals. These bulbs look very blue when they're not lit and just as CavieFreak said, they are a nice bright white with a bluish tint when they are lit.

Since pictures always help me decide on what mods to make, I thought i'd tack these onto the end of this thread for the benefit of others. Since day one I've hated the amber bulbs in my Sunfire, so i finally replaced them with silverstar signals. I love how the blue iridescent bulb matches the electric blue paint. And I absolutely could not tell the difference in color when they were lit from the stock bulbs.

@ Joshua Styles: The APC Icy Hot Super White bulbs can be found at pretty much any auto parts store i.e. Auto Zone, Pep Boys, JC Whitney, etc. I got mine at Auto Zone and if I remember correctly they were around $5 for the pair.
