How did you mount your laptop?

I went to Lowes and played in the plumbing section for a bit.

It sure beat goin on ebay to get one and serves the same purpose. I suppose you could do a bunch of angles and put it further up in the foot rest area so you don't have to get rid of your passenger seat but its totally removable and I can put my seat back in if I want.

Omg we have the same garbage laptop...

I'm sorry.

Overheat much...?

As for how mine is setup, I just put it on the passenger seat...

Interesting setup you have though, how does it handle accelleration and turns? Doesn't it fall out?

what power invertor are you using.

HA! Yea it is a piece of junk! You can't tell in those pics but the drive and the battery is out of it. If you leave the drive in you get the blue screen of death cause its always trying to fall out and I think the constant back and forth connection pisses it off. The battery is shot. I went to start it up the other day and it decided that it didn't want anything to do with it. Told me the hard drive wasn't there. I just replaced it 4 months ago! POS! Thats why its in the car, I could care less and it runs what I need it too.

The power inverter is from lind or lindt something like that. All they do is make power supplies. Funny enough, I found it in my girlfriend's car, her ex left it. I threw it in a box cause I had no idea what it was for then I got the laptop for free and remembered I saw that connection somewhere. Dragged the inverter out of the box and check it out! I also have a Kensington that does the same thing that I got from a Bandolere of Carrots from Woot.com

I'm considering making a bracket for the roof and doing it flip down style...otherwise it will remain in my passenger seat.

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.

I leave mine on the seat so it's not blocking the view of what's on my right. It stays put in most vehicles.

I did the home depot option, like the one above.. Ultimately i decided it wasnt worth it because of the shock to the laptop from the ride. HOWEVER, i'm working on an enclosure that is mounted in dash, replacing the heater/stereo etc... controls.

So far my problem is finding actuators that can do the heater/ac etc..... and then connecting them to the laptop so that it is a Central control center.

Forgot to say I'm getting this Laptop stand from E-bay. My friend has it in his eclipse . Works pretty good, while he's drag racing.

I design actuators all day long, and also design engine coolant control valves. What do you need.
Our website it http://www.thermotion.com/. The website SUCKS, but I am not in charge of it. Just drop a PM, if you need more info.
