Hey everyone, so my and a buddy of mine have been doing some tuning.. well mostly him, i only drive.. but before the tune, the car pulled real hard from every gear, and easily saw 8-11psi boost with my Hahn stage 2. At thoswe times, my air fuel ratio was about 14.5 in full boost (lean) to about 15.6 cruising speed. now after our first tune, i have never seen over 6 psi boost and i am getting into the 10.1-10.9 range for Air Fuel ratio. still getting about 15.6 AFR at cruising speeds. any recommendations for a more solid tune? i mean i want it to be safe and all, but i mean i also want to see the full potential of my Turbo kit. thanks in advance
Your tune should have nothing to do with the PSI ouput... check your lines, pipes and wastegate... something is up.
Flash it back to stock and take a look, I bet you it's still at 6 psi.

Slowly but surely may some day win this race...
how do u figure that your air fuel mixture wouldnt have anything to do with your boost? i mean, if your car is running better and putting out more power, its going to creat more boost, simply by the fact that the engine would be running to the best degree it can. if you have an engine which is running really rich, so the mixture isnt burned up as much, it will result in less power, thus creating less boost. and just like i stated eariler, i know for a fact my car was puttin down easily 8-11psi boost before the tune, and immediately after, could not get it even close ot over 6psi....
very unlinkely they are related. boost in most turbo applications is mechanically adjusted. a 6psi wastegate always opens at 6.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED

You need to do some reading before starting that car again, or you're going to blow it up.
