Is it possible to get rid of a code entirely, such as the 0420 code I am throwing, so it wont show up on a scan when i go in for an inspection? Thanks.

i dont think thats entirely true, if you flash your computer without resetting the light, telling it to ignore your 0420 code, you should pass emissions. of course i am sure that you are aware that doing that to get your car to pass emissions inspection is illegal, and against HP Tuners rules (not that i wouldnt do the same
). And depending on the year of the car you can have a couple moniters not reset and still pass the test (pre 00 you can have up to 2 not reset, 00+ you can have 1)
Yeah i was pretty sure it would be illegal. Thanks for the replies.
Leave the code on but change it to no error reported. This will solve your problem and you will still pass emmisions.
i just removed my egr setup and the ac, should i just scan the computer find all the codes that are pending and delete them. or is there a better way of knowing which code to uncheck.
EGR Error Codes Disable. Uncheck P0401-0404-0405-1404 codes.
That is what I was told to do, when I delete my EGR CEL when I change from 99 -97 ECM.
