Quick question about the diff between 99 and 01 ecu's

Ok. So the 99 pcm for VE is tps based? Did this change in 00? Or since I have the GM re-flash that's why mine are map based?

another question. what all goes into swapping out a 99 pcm for a 00-02?

I will have more questions based on the answers I get, i think...

Since the VE tables are tps based, he has to stay at a certain boost level, unless he flashes it. Say like, a 93 octane tune at 10psi, and a 110 octane tune at 15psi. Since the tables aren't map based.... how would we go about tuning it WITHOUT having to flash it every time he changes boost levels? Or is it possible? Thanks
