i was just wondering if anyone has datalogged what type of gains anyone has recieved from tuning their 2.4 LD9's.
im just curious as to what the gains have been in power by increasing things such as timing and what not.
my car is basically stock (minus my short ram intake) so if anyone has nubers for something like that or even stock numbers that would be great.

**bump**
im guessing no one has either tuned a cavalier with the 2.4L in this type of a condition or no one has data logged it to see the improvements that they have actually made...

there are no limits in tuning
try it out and tell us what you get
that wasnt the answer i was looking for....
i know there are seemingly endless limits to what tuning can do i just wanted to know what some peoples results have been.

Datalogging really is not going to show gains (unless you have the Pro version with a wideband pulling in), and even then that shows air/fuel but not actually gains. A couple of members have posted dyno's of there cars on HPT. DCStang picked up nicely with about 4-5 hours of tuning on his boosted 2.4 with HPT.
FU Tuning
I have no dyno #'s, but I can tell you that I was able to pull about 4-5 lengths ahead of my benchmark car from a 2nd gear roll running regular fuel after street tuning, than what I used to be able to pull running premium before tuning. I have a feeling that peak #'s may not have changed all that much, but midrange and throttle response were much improved.
15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?
on the dyno, we went from 250ish WHP to 280.7WHP in about 8 runs.

DYNO RESULTS to see what an hour and a half, adding 1lb of boost, and a @!#$load of timing can do on C16. A 90hp and 96tq gain to the wheels.
-Trailblazer SS - not so custom 6.0L - custom intake - custom tune
