boost gage on hp tuners reading wrong ?

when i put my hp tuners on scan with the big blue gages on the screen my boost gage is showing 4lbs at idle and the boost gage on the dash is showing 23 lbs of vacuum and when i go down the highway with the cruise on at 60mph the hpt gage shows 4-6lbs when the gage on the dash is 20ish lbs vacuum and when i push on the gas a bit and get the vacuum to 0 on the dash the hpt says 18-19 lbs boost whats the deal i even changed the map sensor because i thought it was the problem but it reads exactly the same (keep in mind I'm sure without a doubt the gage on my dash is correct) (2000 2.4L GM SCRF + map sensor ) thanks again
