for the 2.4 computer platforms. the 96-99 is alpha-n. is the 00-02 speed density or alpha-n? is the gm s/c reflash speed density or alpha-n?

Alpha N for everything except the 2.4 S/C reflash, which is speed density.

can you run a 00-02 s/c computer on a 98 2.4

You can if you rewire the car for 2k+ and use the 2k+ ECU/BCM/Cluster/Injectors
