I have changed both low octane timing maps to high octane values and eliminated knock. As you can see after 6500 the computer pulls timing, and dumps fuel and goes richer. I am keeping about a 11.5-11.8 AFR throughout the RPM range on every day I have logged. I am wondering if there are gains to be made keeping timing where its at and leaning AFR mixture out to about 12.5 w/out knock.
Has anyone tried the latest HPT update to see if you can edit the timing maps past 6500??

yes there is a solution to the richening happening after 6500rpm, the new beta version 11 has 4 new fields where you can change the ramp out or basically where the computer pulls timing, theres 2 of them, going faster than 108 pulls timing and going beyond 6500rpm, simply removing the limiters doesnt keep the car from pulling timing at these points which is why the hp tuner guys brought out these new fields to allow the computer to keep pouring it on beyond the stock limits, ive datalogged and it confirms a constant AFR to 7000 not getting suddenly richer as before after 6500

oh and forgot the last question you cant edit any timing tables beyond the stock rpms listed, only real table that you can tune anything beyond 6500 is the high rpm ve which you can tune to 7000 once you go beyond the limits of the table it just uses the same numbers in the highest cell

Rodimus,
Please post your HPL file showing that the ramps do work for your car. So far, I haven't seen it work on a single car.
