Just as the topic says, what is the most compression you can run on a stock computer and where can you get them/how much?

The computers don't see compression, they see knock. If you can keep the knock down, and the engine spinning, you could run 20:1 on a bone stock ecu... If you up the compression, you'll have to use premium gas to help keep the knock under control. I think I have seen people go as high as 11.5:1 or so.

From what i have been told when i asked this question you can go to 11:1 but with tunning you could do 11.5:1 I think11.5 is what the older quad engines were running i believe more specificaly the w41.

The Ho and W41 had 10:1 compression.
Alky injection is good on N/A engine too.

i wouldnt run more than 10.5 on the stock
11 might be pushing it expecially if you are using forged pistons
cause they will rattle some when they are cold , and might cause some knock retard
like mfk-223 said water/alky injection is good for n/a motor , more so with higher compression ratios
I know you can run as much as you can, as long as you keep the engine from knocking. I should have been more specific but, i was looking for how much compression on a stock ecu on 93 gas and possibly octane booster w/o having to retard the time...probably better go 10.5:1 or 11:1...
Where can you get those compression ratio pistons? maybe .020 oversize?price range?
As far as alcohol injection...this is probably a stupid question, BUT...what kind of alcohol do you use? where can you get it? anybody make a kit or know how to setup a homemade one?price range?
