I'm looking for someone with HPTuners and an 03 Cavy license.
I'll buy the credit myself if anyone just has the software.
I'm not looking to pay out the ass, I just need a couple changes, not a full tune. I've never used HPT and I could change what I wanted to myself in 5 minutes if you hand me the computer and cable.
I live near 15931.
Western-Central PA.
I'm willing to drive a decent bit if I have to. Hopefully someone nice with an unlimited 03 license that I can just shell some thank you cash out to... Like I said I'll buy the credit if need be, but dont bother posting if you're gonna charge me 50+ dollars to change ~8 values unless you conveniently live DOWN the street, the less I spend on gas to get there the more I'm going to have to donate to the help as well... I like to pay for people helping me out, so the closer person is the one I'm going to take.
Let me know guys, Thanks!

Well it is $100 in credits, and you live 3.5 hours away.
What do you want to change?

I want to do the following:
Raise the Speed Limiter to 150.
Raise the final RPM limiter to Bottom Red Line.
Disable any other speed inhibiting problems that will prevent reaching that speed, such as injector cutoffs.
This is for track days. They told me to remove the limiter altogether, I told them I will when I pickup a few extra suspension upgrades and upgrade a few power train components. Honestly, even after I "Throw on the Hahn" and turbocharge this naturally aspirated beast, I do not see this car reaching 150 before the 1/4 mile, maybe high 130's early 140's... What's your zip code, and how much would you be charging me to do this? The credit itself is no problem I'll pay cash on the spot after you buy the credit when I'm there/before the tune.

Raise the limiter is easy.
Raise the final RPM limiter is easy
Easy

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I CALL WAFFLES!!
WOW 140 in the 1/4. Can't wait to see
Now with a trap speed like that you would be doing at least 10's in the quarter unless my figuring is way off.

Anything over 100-110 in a cavalier is just sketchy.. These are not ment to go fast and there is a lot of moving parts that can fail due to not being made for high speeds, witch could lead to you killing yourself or someone else..
Hey come guys, this guy had those mods done too!

No its not... Not with the proper mods its not.
A Jbody over 100mph even on stock suspension is not bad really.
With upgraded struts, springs even better.
FU Tuning
with aftermarket suspension, at 130+ my car feels perfectly fine, like its doing 40. No shakes, rattles, vibrations, etc. Even the steering and braking is comfortable and extremely controllable and tight. The only time it gets iffy is when I run my steelies with stock Michelins (195/70/14)...they just suck performance-wise but last forever
but 130+ within a 1/4 stretch in a daily driven streetable cavalier ....that i'd love to see!

it is true...they are useless for our cars
Philly - actually they work a little but but basically the concept behind them is to skew the map sensor so really it's like pouring gasoline on an oil fire. lol.
Mine has been a glorified Tachometer for years!
