Ya know what would be nice... A table with a injector size (CC or LBS\Hr) to what the number is for HPT...
Seems the J car support SUCKS... So much more I can do when tuning the GTO.
anywho, just a thought.

Chris, I made a spreadsheet that I have tested on 3 cars now and the formula in my spreadsheet has come very very close to being the right adjusted constant.
It looks like you are trying to get back into an M45 J-body! Am I right?

I would be interested to see this spreadsheet.
at the same time it can be done with a simple forumla.
Still would like to see what you came up with.

Maybe...
lol
I got a hold of parts, the short of it is a LD2 cam, LD2 oiling, L67 pump pick up( no pan mod! ) "rebuilt" LD9.
Ya'll know, typical Team Green sh .. (about to say what comes out of the back side of most upper class/order animals, but don't want to get "yelled at" again)
Yeah, All that to make stock W41 power... Kool?
No, its fun. Besides we have all the parts laying around, safe rods and crank pulley.
And yes, even the little Plate mod Brian has for the trans.

John, I can send it your way... it isn't using the normal formula that people use for the constant... it actually is partially what Protomec told everybody to do back in the day with converting things down to the level the injectors are programmed in at (litres per grams per second or something)... the spreadsheet allows you to put in the stock injector constant and size in both CC/Lbs (with a converter for both) and then tells you a constant with my formula and with the one that everybody else uses. In some cases they are ALMOST exact and in others they are quite different.
I tested it on 3 cars this summer and in all 3 cases the constant was very very close to what was needed.
Chris - good ish man... even better that it's built from parts that are just laying around!

Interested in the spread sheet buddy.

oh? details on said L67 pickup?
I choose the technology built for land speed records... not the technology built to save on emissions and gas mileage.
I thought you had it already?
Its a adapter for the LG0\LD2 oil pump to use a normal pump pick up. SBC style
the L67's just have a deflector facing forwards to help with the whole lame FWD nonsense.
