Siemens Injector in question
Wednesday, October 26, 2011 12:22 PM
I have a friend selling his "Siemens" injectors off his LSJ.

Im interested in his stage 2 42# 441cc for the current stock boosted engine while I build my engine. Then once I do the swap I want his 60# injectors.

Anyone have and experience with these injectors? I know I will need to slot the bolt holes on my LD9.

Reason Im asking is Im getting a good deal on these and well the GP for the injectors was my first choice but its kinda expensive right now. And I know stock LSJ injectors are a simple swap simliar to the Ford brown tops. So im assuming these upgraded injectors will be too.

non-premium member edit: you'll need to get the connectors for the siemens injectors though and splice them in

OR get ev4 to ev1 adapters, which I found a place once that sold them for 2.50 each.

Well thats great news to hear. As for the connectors will I need to source them or will he have them since he has them installed already? So they are not a direct swap like the stock GM LSJ injectors?

Leafy....please post this magic place you speak of

www.siemensdeka.com

I've been using the Siemens Deka 80#/hr injectors for a couple of years now, no problems. I just wired in connectors on my setup mainly because I first did it years ago with my 44#/hr Accel injectors and the conversion harness wasn't available at the time
