i am running a yank 3000 stall in my 1997 cavalier and i was wondering is there any tuning i should do for it?
right not i keep getting incorrect gear ratio code with it.
any help would be wonderful

Never had a problem with my yank, but mine seems to be a 2800 RPM variant.

when I was running off the Jbody PCM, I never had any problems with my 3k yank
I have no signiture
mine ran ok with 3k yank in it but i did notice the tranny tend to slip a bit more
i would recommend some tuning

I have the 3000k one and no issues, although i have things modded in my tune for hard shifts also.
ic ic ill see once ive barley drove it. i was more wondering if there was anything you needed to tune for it. thanks guys

Yeah I would tune the trans tables. Look up trans tuning on the hpt forums for the v8 cars. Same concepts apply. There are different and cool things you can do with an aftermarket tcc that you cant do with the stock one without blowing it up.

when i look what f bodies are doing there mess with apply and release settings and its talking about p0 757 and 751 which i have this i the thread ive been looking at any more help would be great.
