Has anyone used the new
MTX-L: Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge and Sensor by Innovate Motorsports?
Did I mention its only $199.
I assume this statement,"(2) 0-5v fully programmable linear analog outputs for use with engine management systems “closed-loop” and external dataloggers ", would make using this the same as the other Innovate Motorsports widebands with HPTuners?

Damn, I wish that was around when I bought my LC-1....I love the fact that is has a the sweep gauge as well as the digital readout.
Looks like this is their response to the AEM unit.

yeah i go that route too. sometimes its easier to just email him. i know he i swamped.
and i think innovate has always been better AEM due to the ability to tie into HPT. this gauge looks great.
One day might get this one for my car always and use my LC1 for tuning others cars.

I have the XD-16 / LC-1 combo which is pretty much the same as for looks. This guage kind of just looks like they packaged the 2 together took a few features out of the XD-16 and priced it at an affordable price.
it says 100% digital wideband, and its the only one on the market. is digital that much better? it says it can read faster and what not.... is that REALLY worth it?
I personally don't see how a wideband can be more digital than they already are unless it was some new O2 sensor technology the controller and guage already seem pretty digital to me.
Looks like a new sensor. Up until now all O2 sensors have been analog. Even though narrow bands for the most part just work like digital sensors using and analog signal.

sounds good to me
Sig thanks to bxmobkrazey on gmscf.com
hmmm i might look into switching it up for sure...
Interesting, I like that they have a sweep gauge now. I was planning on an LC-1, I just might go with this now...

I think I'm sold. The more I read about, the more I want it.
I purchased it! I'll update after I receive it.

waiting for ryan to see this and chime in his thoughts
Indeed, I'll be interested to see how well it plays with HPTuners. Wasn't there some problem with the LC-1 that forced you to reset it every couple of weeks?

nah, my first one out of the box was bad. so i sent that one back and they sent me 2 to replace it
i calibrate mine when i do oil changes, im right there, under the car, so why not. to me it looks just as HPT friendly as my xd-16, just faster, im not sure how it can be much faster but i might find out...
Ahh, once every oil change isn't bad, I'll get good use of my O2 sensor socket. Best $10 EVAR!

huh? It should be done after like 3 months and then like once a year after that.

For a LC-1:
Normally aspirated daily driver:
- Calibrate before installation of new sensor
- Calibrate new sensor again after 3 month of use
- Thereafter calibrate once a year or every 20,000 miles, whichever comes first
Turbo car, daily driver (tuned rich):
- Calibrate before installation of new sensor
- Calibrate new sensor again after 3 month of use
- Thereafter calibrate twice a year or every 10,000 miles, whichever comes first
Race car
- Calibrate before first installation of new sensor
- Calibrate once per race weekend
Dyno use
- Calibrate a new sensor
- Calibrate every 2-3 days, depending on usage

Mines coming up for the first calibration. Actually I think I'm a bit over now. But I'm really trying to get rid of this car.
