I have a gmpp s/c, and will be switching To a t/c. My question is should I keep the reflashed ecu for a place to begin tuning, or sell it with the s/c?

is this ecotec or ld9? if its an ld9 you'd be stupid to sell that pcm since the 2 bar s/c flash is what you need to tune anyways. But if its an eco you're better off faking a 2.5 bar tune with hpt than hoping that the GM flash works ok in an unintended application.

It's the 2.4. I just wasn't sure, being that I have a stock ecu too, and it would make an easy sale of the s/c.

Get HPtuners first and download the s/c tune off the pcm and use hptuners to flash it to the stock pcm and then sell one of them with the kit.

problem with that leafy is that he would have to go to the dealer to get the stock pcm coded to his vin so the pcm and bcm can communicate and hp tuners will license it correctly.

Cant you change the vin in HPtuners? he'd just need to license the stock pcm first.

He could just license the stock ECU and flash it with the GM reflash. Only problem in doing this is sometimes it will not take correctly and cause problems.
FU Tuning
Sounds like a good idea. Both work in my car already...so wouldn't I just copy the flash, I'm not sure I understand fully

Oops, another q...would I have to use a hpt credit on each pcm?
