I'm looking at buying the machine however not sure if I need to for my application. I'm kind of looking for someone in or near the Hampton Roads area of Virginia that doesn't mind talking about it and possibly tuning two cars for me. They are strictly for track use and are not in anyway street legal. The biggest thing I'm looking to do is turn off all of the emissions stuff etc. I read through the forums alot and learned alot but don't want to jump into it and blow my stuff up because of being ignorant to the world tuning. I for the most part understand what I'm doing but most things I have worked with as far as tuning were all carburated so I'm not all the way dumb except for the computer part. If I could tell someone what I need the car to do maybe they can show me how to use the machine. If there is someone out there close to the area that wouldn't mind let me know what you might charge and we'll see if we can't work something out. There is no name in my profule because for what I'm doing I have to do it semi anonymous. I'll tell you all about it if you are willing and able to help. I also hid the email thinking it may be like the craigslist thing where you may still email through this. If not please reply here and I can email you. Thanks Alot in advance I appreciate it.
not shady in the slightest.....
lol I understand how one could think that but that's not how it's intended. I can say it's for local racing. I know alot of people look at this site and forum. I don't want any of the guys at the race track I run at knowing what I'm doing nor who I am that's all. If someone wants to do I'll tell them everything. The thing is in the rules they say everything (including the computer) must stay stock and will be checked blah blah blah. If I say who I am without telling someone in email or whatever it's like saying hey everyone I'm cheating. Which of course I am but don't want to tell everyone.
I'll tune whatever you want, but I'm 300 miles away you would have to cover my gas cost and I charge 150 a tune
