LD9 Injector Constant Question

i know there are at least a dozen people here that have put LSJ injectors in, most of which should have been tuned at one point. What injector constant have you all used when you tuned. My tuner came up with a number on his own... i'm not sure if it was .183 or .138 (the sunglare off his laptop made it hard fro me to see and he didnt have his notes on hm when i called him a little while ago.)

we'd both like to compare numbers here with some of you to see if we are close or not.

so you want to go higher and not lower with the injector constant? stock is .2025

Ok here is the deal it is based off what constant you start with. RedCavalac has the GM charger so he would have the GM flash. That flash is a hack and GM did it backwards to make it work. It starts with a constant of .32359. A regular cavy start with .20250.

When starting with the 0.20250 I have used .13499, that is basing it off the SS/SC injectors being 378cc, some say they are 368cc and going based off that gives you .13866.

Just as FYI on my GM Reflash I did not used the .32359, but the stock constant.

Sorry I forgot the mention the charger. Although from a tuning standpoint I dont think GM went crazy on changing things for this flash, so my IC (although not properly calculated by GM) is still valid for the motor and injectors when not boosting.
From what I've read the gm sc reflash makes the computer think the injectors are smaller than what they are. This would in turn dump more fuel into the engine.

From your other post about the flooding out situation, you would probably definately wanna scale the IC to make the computer think they are bigger than they are. This is assuming that it is an injector control issue and not a part/ sensor failure.

well my constant is set to .138 so we're in the ballpark...

http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=2&i=450505&t=450505 -- there is the link to my other thread

we can /thread but at least now the magic number of .13866 is searchable.
