I played around with the spark advance a bit today. I added more advance I also tried to add more fuel to avoid det. I did get some kr but I dont know what is an acceptable amount of kr.

Why is your commanded afr so rich?

well, Ive been experimenting with mixing half e85 and 93 premium. Also have larger cam profile 319l 219 dur int 4* adv 390 206 exh 2* ret, and .040 pistons. I just want to make sure I dont go lean. I was also trying to aoid detination. I set my rev limiter close to 6800, I want to make sure I have enough fuel at the higher rpms. But I am still learning and needing advice.

I personally think you are making it harder than you need to. E85 is not hard to tune, BUT, (key word here) you are not going to get it right based on the fact that we have no access to AFR command/stoich tables. If we had this table, it would be a breeze.... If I were you, I would just tune it for pump gas.... I'm not saying that it can't be done, but based in what I have read so far I would not advise it.... Also, stop mixing your fuel...

I guess I dont know what it would hurt to mix your fuel to shoot for a bit higher octane level? Isnt super unleaded mixed? I really don't know what it would hurt. Ive never read anything about it being corosive. The only problem I ever read about was that more moisture builds up when it gets cold. That doesnt mean that somthing couldnt go wrong I guess. But seriously whats wrong with it becuase i really want to understand. Thanks.

Its not about "raising the octane levels"... The 2 fuels have differerent burn rates.... In order for you to be able gain ANYTHING, you would need to have the EXACT SAME MIX EVERYTIME, and the tune would have to corrospond to it... Any change in the fuel mixture, the tune will be off. What if your out and you can't get the fuel(s) needed to make the correct mix... There are more details to this, but I don't have the time to get into all of them... Just take the advice, and run with it....

ok that makes sense to me. and your rigt your mix will never be exactly the same. no one wants to change their tune every time they fill their tank that would just suck. But thn again theoreticly if you could always mix the same and your tune was right on wouldnt it give you the best of both worlds richer mixture and a faster burn time? Wouldnt that optimize your power?

No it is not. You should not be playing with fuel tables when you do not have a wideband on the car.
