Wondering about adjusting the AFR for Idle? Car is running in Open Loop right now cause im going to do some VE Tuning with it but its running really rich
Can't log Inj Duty cycle, still cant get it to tune for some reason
Also wondering what would trigger the Cooling fan to run all the time? Runs as normal with the 2.4 Mani on but when i put the 2.3 Manifold on my fan always runs?

CEL's will set the fan to run all the time. i had issues with this till i disabled them.
No CELs at all

you have no CEL's and ur fan runs all the time?
and all i did was raise the idle up a bit. if you wanna check out my current tune i can send it to ya, i messed with a few things but disregard pretty much everything lol.
Have you hecked to make sure there is not a code in history that has yet to trip the CEL? This can happen.

I had a random issue like that with my eco, fan ran by its after 1st blower install. Just ran hpt datalogger and turned fan off and never had the issue again. Fan came on at right time everytime after that.

what afr is your wideband feeding you @ idle?
I usually do not mess with idle AFR too much. The ECU controlls this when car is in closed loop If you need to adjust it use a histogram.

yep, x2 but an afr read out never hurts during any part of a tuning process, or when searching for a problem.
AFR is about 10.5-11 at idle in Open Loop
Anyone have a Histrogram for Idle? Or do we already have one from HPT?
are you running your car in strictly open loop or when you are tuning?
If it is while you are tuning that isn't out or order.
holy crap i didnt know the fan constantly runs due to CEL's...
thats good to know... explains why my dad's 00z's fan has been constantly running for 6 years LOL

To be honest I wouldn't worry about Idle AFR in open loop. Your running open loop for a reason. If you want though, what you can do is copy your 0% throttle table over to your idle tables or copy your Coastdown tables into your your idle table.
I can send you a histogram for idle if you want, but I would not worry about it too much if you are going to put it back to closed loop after tuning.
